Vista Sound Settings for Paltalk

Right click the speaker icon on your task bar and select "recording devices" from the menu (shown below).

The Sound properties window is now open. By default, "stereo mix" does not show so you will likely have to enable it. To do this just right click and choose "show disabled devices".

Now select "stereo mix", right click and enable it.

If you do not have "stereo mix" as an option look for "wave" or "wave out" or "what you hear". These are all valid sound output options.

It may be necessary to switch the default device to "stereo mix". You now should be able to play music and talk or sing along. If you don't wish people to hear you talk while you play, you will have to disable the microphone.

Thats it, enjoy. If you have any problems, you are on your own till I get Vista for my computer and I have no plans for that in the near future.
