Re: The "Original Duprees" - They are either gone or no longer performing with the group (ie: Tommy B. John Salvato, Mike Kelly). Anyone who pays to see the current line up is seeing a good tribute group. Although they are excellent performers they ARE NOT the Duprees. What Tommy Bialoglow didn't tell you was that Joey Vann's voice was not on the demos sent to George Paxton. It was Mike Kelly who sang the leads on the demos that got the Duprees their recording contract. Joey was back with the group when they met Paxton personally. Let's give credit where credit is due.
